Enterprise Elementary School Announcements
Celebrating the 2013-2014 School Year!
The 2013-2014 school year has truly been a memorable and exciting one here at Enterprise!  We wrapped up our final days of school with our 4th Quarter Awards Ceremony and our 5th Grade Promotion. Both events were a celebration of the hard work and success each student has strived to achieve throughout the school year!  All of the teachers and staff are so proud of our students' academic and personal accomplishments.  Have a wonderful summer! We look forward to another eventful and successful school year and cannot wait to see the Enterprise family back here at the end of August!

Portfolio Day
On Friday, June 6th, over 280 families joined us for our annual end of the year event, Portfolio Day.  Students shared a collection of their personal best work throughout the school year with their family. Students' portfolios included projects from art and computers, performances from music and Spanish, and binders with work samples from core subject areas. This was a great way to celebrate academic success this school year!

Being a great Enterprise ROCKET has its benefits.  On June 10th, we celebrated positive classroom and bus behavior with several special activities throughout the day! Congratulating and rewarding our students for their continued commitment to being a great ROCKET. They are demonstrating Respectful, Organized, Cooperative, Kind, Enthusiastic and Trustworthy characteristics on the bus and in the school.
Gifted Program
Enterprise will be housing its own START/SIGNET gifted program for the school year 2014-2015. The number of students participating in this program has grown steadily over the last 4 years and we are thrilled to have it on campus now. The best part is that all students will benefit from the instructional influence of the gifted program and it will match beautifully with our school wide project based/STEM instructional focus.
Personal Best
Students at Enterprise have been working towards achieving their "PERSONAL BEST" throughout the school year in all aspects of their lives - academically, socially, behaviorally, and athletically. With SOLs underway, our third, fourth and fifth graders are getting that moment to shine academically. PERSONAL BEST looks different for each student. For some, it may mean getting a 600 or perfect score on the SOLs. For others, it may involve showing growth in a certain subject area from one year to the next. Below, several students were recognized for achieving their PERSONAL BEST on the SOL testing so far. We look forward to other students joining the ranks of PERSONAL BEST achievement! Way to go Rockets!

Achieving GOLD on the Governor's Nutrition and Physical Activity Scorecard
Congratulations, AGAIN! Enterprise has won the GOLD award for nutrition and physical activity for three years in a row. The scorecard has been verified by the Department of Education and supported by the Governor's office. Great job on implementing best practices that supoort proper nutrition and increased physical activity to promote student health and improved academic performance.
