Ending the School Year in Style!
Wow - what a week! We had so many wonderful activities to cap off a fabulous year at Enterprise Elementary School.

5th graders had their amazing graduation and awards ceremony. We wish you all the best at middle school. You will be missed!

3rd and 4th graders had their awards ceremony. Awards were given for silver honor roll, gold honor roll, Terrific Kid, Blast Off, Reflex Math, Star Reading, and All Year Gold. We are very proud of our students' hard work.

In addition, all students participated in the final Engineering Challenge as well. They had a blast using their design and teamwork skills.

Take a look at all of our slideshows from the 2014-2015 school year.

5th Grade Students Attending Beville Middle School
In an effort to ensure a smooth transition as well as provide support and assistance to you and your student, Beville Middle School is inviting your child to participate in "Becoming a Bobcat" on August 20, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. For your student, this program will focus on the sixth grade schedule, time management, and extra-curricular programs. For you as the parent, we will focus on providing essential information and answering your questions about some of the things that you can expect. Everyone will have the opportunity to meet many members of the Beville family, tour the building, and practice opening a locker. If you and your child would like to join us for this exciting experience, please complete the attached form, and return it as directed. A letter of confirmation and a bus schedule will be mailed to you in early August. A light snack will be provided.

Keep the Learning Going Over the Summer
We have plenty of great ideas to keep your child's mind engaged over the summer!

Take a look at the suggested reading lists for your grade level.  Did you know that reading over the summer is incredibly important for students and their academic achievement?

Tumblebooks website is another fun way to keep kids engaged in reading. TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.  You will need to use Enterprise’s username and password to access the site but all students should know how to log in.

Reflex Math will be available all summer to our students. It is an engaging way to keep fluent in math facts. Did you know that students who are fluent in basic math facts have higher achievement in math class? Students should know their usernames and passwords to log in.

TenMarks is offering a FREE personalized online math program for students in grades 1 - Algebra II. Click here for more information.

Another popular resource for students is Brain Pop. BrainPop is a website with over 1,000 short animated movies for students, together with quizzes and related materials, covering the subjects of science, social studies, English, mathematics, engineering and technology, health, and arts and music. You will need to use Enterprise’s username and password to access the site but all students should know how to log in.

For more online resources to keep young minds actively engaged, take a look at our website. Look for the section on the left called For Students. We have links to several great educational websites.

If you have any question about how you log in to any of these sites, please contact Marcia Jeans at jeansml@pwcs.edu.

Have a fun, safe, and educational summer!
